The Story.
In 1999 the newly-appointed MD for Teknion Malaysia invited an exciting discussion to take place in a run-down old tin shed and a small three-storey concrete-brick despatch office in the outskirts of Bangalore Town. This discussion resulted in a major renovation and extension of commercial space for the manufacture, computerised paint & assembly-line and storage together with hospitality, showroom and offices and re-allocated staff and recreation space uniquely provided for in a fully restored old train - a process that was carefully space-planned, designed and project managed over two and a half years, and completed in 2002.
